The way last season ended for the LSU Women's Basketball team losing to Iowa woke up a monster in Kim Mulkey. After the loss, Kim Mulkey went out and brought in a loaded transfer portal class and has since signed a massive recruiting class. The class Kim Mulkey has signed is truly incredible as she looks to shape the future of the program.
Mulkey signed four recruits and its such an incredible class that all four of Kim Mulkey's signees are all nominees for the McDonald's All-American Game.
Grace Knox is the best of LSU's Recruiting Class ranked as the 4th overall recruit in the Country, the top Small Forward in the Country, and the Top Player out of California. Knox is a 6 foot 2 small forward who averaged 17.2 points and 11.9 rebounds in her junior season at Etiwanda High School, leading her team to a championship.
ZaKiyah Johnson is another top ten signee for Kim Mulkey and LSU as the 7th ranked player in the Country, the 2nd ranked Shooting Guard in the Class, and the Top Player out of Kentucky. Johnson averaged 18.9 points per game and 7.3 rebounds per game as a Junior.
Divine Bourrage is the 12th ranked player in the Country, the 5th ranked shooting guard in the Class, and the Top Recruit out of Iowa. As a Junior, Bourrage averaged 19.8 points per game, 9.3 rebounds per game, 5.6 assists per game, and 3 steals per game.
Finally, Bella Hines is the final signee and the final nominee for the McDonald's All American Game from LSU. Hines is ranked as the 29th best player in the class, the 10th ranked Point Guard in the class, and the top player out of New Mexico but, if you need to know anything about Hines' game is the first High Schooler to ink an NIL deal with Jordan.
We'll have to wait and see which players actually play in the McDonald's All American Game but, Kim Mulkey having four commits as talented as she's signed is incredible.
