The LSU Lady Tigers won on Friday night coming from behind to beat NC State which advances the Lady Tigers to their third consecutive Elite Eight. While LSU got a massive win, the Lady Tigers had a massive concern that left LSU fans wondering whether they'd have one of their superstars available for the next game.

In the 4th Quarter, Flau'Jae Johnson had to leave the game with what an injury after she took an awkward fall fighting for a loose ball. Johnson went down for a long time and it was seemingly a serious injury however, when Holly Rowe gave the sideline report she revealed that it was an eye injury for Johnson.

At first it appeared that Johnson may return to the game as she went to the scorers table but, she soon returned to the bench where the medical staff continued to work on her eye. Johnson never returned to the game which raised concerns about whether or not she'd be able to play on Sunday.

After the game, LSU Head Coach Kim Mulkey was asked about Johnson's injury and whether it worries Mulkey to which she said the following:

"I haven't been told she can't play. I didn't see it. I don't know if she got poked in the eye, hit in the -- I don't know. I just know I was getting ready to put her back in the game, and I turned around, and they said they won't let her go back in the game because she's seeing double, like double vision a little bit. So we just went with Mjracle defensively and KG offensively. But I haven't asked. They haven't come up to me, you know, all worried or anything like that. So, yeah, I anticipate she will be good to go."

The biggest concern going forward with Johnson's injury will be whether or not the injury affects her vision as it could effect how well she shoots the basketball. The Lady Tigers were able to win while Johnson had one of her worst games of the year scoring just 3 points but, LSU will need all hands on deck for Sunday's elite eight game.
