Ole Miss defeated LSU by a score of 24-19 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday, moving the Rebels to 5-0 and dropping the Tigers to 4-1. The home team has now won six straight matchups in the historic rivalry.
After the game wrapped up, it didn't take long for Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin to take to social media to troll Brian Kelly and the Tigers. Kiffin is very active on social media, specifically X (formerly Twitter), and had this post ready to roll mere minutes after the clock struck zero on Saturday afternoon.

Kiffin keeps receipts. In the post, Kiffin posted a picture of a quote that Brian Kelly said earlier this week on The Brian Kelly Show. When discussing the upcoming Magnolia Bowl, Kelly said "We're looking forward to it. We're going to keep that Magnolia Trophy right here in Baton Rouge right where it deserves to be and our guys are excited for the opportunity."
Kelly was confident in his team's ability to walk out of Oxford with a win, but the quote is now coming back to bite. Kiffin's post just adds salt in the wound for LSU fans, who have seen and heard a lot of Kiffin this week. It's been the week of Lane Kiffin, as the Ole Miss head coach had an E60 documentary released this week. Titled "The Many Lives of Lane Kiffin," the documentary gives college football fans an inside look at Kiffin's turbulent career through the college football ranks.
Saturday's matchup was highly-anticipated for several reasons, both on and off the field. But in the end, it's Kiffin and Ole Miss who have the last laugh. This could be just the first of several social media posts to come from Kiffin in the wake of Ole Miss' win over LSU.
