LSU lands commitment from former Hawai'i WR Jackson Harris
Harris spent the first two seasons of his collegiate career at Stanford, where he redshirted in 2023. In two seasons with the Cardinal, Harris played in 9 games and totaled 6 catches for 86 yards and a touchdown. Following the 2024 season, he entered the transfer portal and moved from Palo Alto to Honolulu to play for Hawai'i.
Harris put together a sensational 2025 campaign in his lone season with Hawai'i. He totaled 49 catches in 10 games, and led the Rainbow Warriors in receiving yards (963) and receiving touchdowns (12). He comes to LSU with 55 catches, 1,049 yards, 13 touchdowns and 19.1 yards per catch to his name in his career.
Harris was originally a 3-star recruit out of Berkeley High School in California, and was ranked as the No. 56 player in the state for the 2023 recruiting class. Kiffin has plenty of WR production to replace, and Harris is a solid place to start. At 6'3", 205 pounds, Harris brings a dynamic skill set to an LSU offense looking to bounce back in 2026.
Harris can go up and make contested catches 1-on-1, which could make for a perfect fit in Kiffin's offense. Along with getting TE Trey'Dez Green back, LSU looks to have a pair of solid red zone targets heading into 2026. With that being said, don't be surprised if Kiffin continues pulling WR talent from the transfer portal over the next few weeks.
Love the fit for Jackson Harris. Kiffin loves to take advantage of 1on1 balls with bigger WRs that can make contested catches and thats what Harris does pic.twitter.com/RoOHkK1YzF
