Lane Kiffin coached the Ole Miss Rebels to a 38-19 victory in the Egg Bowl on Friday afternoon to give Ole Miss its first 11-win regular season in program history. Kiffin has the Rebels poised for a National Championship run in the College Football Playoff, but could he be on the way out? Kiffin is set to make an announcement regarding his future on Saturday, but he kept fans guessing with his postgame remarks following the Egg Bowl.

Lane Kiffin still undecided on his future
On Friday, it was reported that Kiffin's decision has come down to Ole Miss and LSU, as the Florida Gators have started to switch their focus to other coaching candidates. Kiffin has done wonders at Ole Miss in his six seasons there, but LSU is arguably the best job in all of college football. The Tigers are going all-in on Kiffin, and as it stands, the main question fans are wondering is if Ole Miss can offer everything that LSU can.
Now that the Egg Bowl is over, LSU fans are eagerly awaiting Kiffin's announcement on Saturday. Fans will rejoice if he chooses the Tigers, and will be heartbroken if he stays at Ole Miss. LSU hasn't heavily pursued many other candidates, and several top names such as Curt Cignetti, Eli Drinkwitz, and Clark Lea have all inked contract extensions at their current schools.
There's also a chance that Kiffin doesn't provide further clarity with his Saturday announcement. Ole Miss is set to make a run in the College Football Playoff, and it's worth mentioning that Kiffin could play it coy and not give a definitive answer on Saturday. Kiffin has become a master of online trolling, and keeping fans on the edge of their seats for just a little bit longer seems well within the realm of possibility.
