We haven't seen Leonard Fournette in the NFL this season as the veteran running back remains a Free Agent as we approach Week 11 of the NFL Season. That may change for Leonard Fournette as teams reach the final stretch of the season dealing with various injuries to running backs. On Monday, Leonard Fournette is trying out for the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bengals lost running back Zack Moss to the IR and traded for Bears running back Roschon Johnson at the deadline showing how big of a need running back is for the Bengals. The try out is most likely for a role on the team's practice squad which would allow them to elevate Fournette when needed.

Fournette heads to Cincinnati after spending the weekend in Baton Rouge where he was on hand to watch the game and to help LSU in its recruiting efforts.

Last season, Fournette spent a short period of time with the Buffalo Bills where he recorded 12 carries for 40 yards. In 2022 with the Buccaneers, Fournette rushed for 668 yards and three touchdowns while averaging 3.5 yards per carry. If Fournette lands with the Bengals he likely won't have a massive role but, he'll have a chance to prove that he's still a capable back before next season which will hopefully land him a full time gig.

Fournette signing with the Bengals would be incredible for LSU fans as we'd see another LSU legend joining forces with Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase in attempting to get the Bengals back into the playoff hunt amidst a rocky season.
