Lola Lampley is the latest LSU commit to earn McDonald's All-American Honors
Lampley is now the 15th all-time LSU signee to earn a spot on the McDonald’s All-American Game roster. A total of five of those honors have come over the last five years with Mulkey at the helm of the program. Along with Lampley, Flau'jae Johnson (2022), Mikaylah Williams (2023), ZaKiyah Johnson (2025), and Grace Knox (2025) have earned McDonald's All-American honors under Mulkey at LSU.
A 6'2" power forward from Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis, Lampley ranks as the No. 1 player in Indiana and the No. 15 player in the country for the 2026 recruiting class according to 247Sports. She is also a top-30 recruit according to other major recruiting services such as On3 (No. 17), Prospects Nation (No. 17), and ESPN (No. 29).
Lampley was among the most sought-after recruits for the 2026 class, and ultimately committed to LSU on October 31, 2025. She chose LSU over other offers from South Carolina, Texas A&M, Miami (FL), and Oklahoma, among others. She is set to join the program for the 2026-27 season.
Along with finding success at Lawrence Central, Lampley is a decorated player for USA Basketball. She won gold medals at the FIBA U17 World Cup in 2024 as well as the FIBA Americas U16 championship in 2023.
The 2026 McDonald’s All-American Game is set to take place at the Desert Diamond Arena in Phoenix on March 31. Tiger fans are eager to see her play for the purple and gold this coming fall.
