On Wednesday, the LSU Football team signed its 2025 recruiting class getting pen to paper from 23 recruits. While the transfer portal, NFL Draft decisions, and replacing Slade Nagle are the biggest priorities in the short term, the 2026 recruiting class is now the next group LSU focuses on landing.

As things currently stand, LSU holds the Nation's 8th ranked recruiting class in the 2026 Cycle but, we're a long way from the finish line. The Tigers hold five commitments from In-State players Aiden Hall, Rich Anderson, Jakai Anderson, Kenny Darby, and Jalan Chapman. The two players ranked the highest are Safety Aiden Hall who is ranked 37th according to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings and right behind him is defensive lineman Rich Anderson who is ranked 50th.

In the class, LSU already has commitments from Two Wide Receivers in In-State recruits Jakai Anderson and Kenny Darby. This season Kenny Darby caught 100 passes for 1,764 yards and 24 touchdowns and is one of the most underrated recruits in the Cycle.

There are two five-star recruits in Louisiana this cycle and both aren't committed to a school yet. Lamar Brown is the 9th ranked player in the Class, the top Interior Offensive Lineman, and the top player in Louisiana. Brown has been to LSU and Texas A&M a ton but, he's stated multiple times that A&M is the current front runner.

Blaine Bradford is the 16th ranked player in the class, the top safety in the class, and the 2nd ranked player In-State. The Tigers made Bradford's list of top schools this Summer and their pitch has only gotten stronger flipping his brother Jacob from Houston and signing him.

The 5th and 6th ranked players in State are both uncommitted and ranked within the Top-100 which is massive news for LSU. Offensive Tackle Brysten Martinez is the 52nd ranked player in the Country and has already visited LSU for a few games. Wide Receiver Jabari Mack is one of the most underrated players in the class at 73rd and by the time its all said and done he'll end up being one of the top wide receivers. Mack plays at Destrehan which is great news for LSU as the school has become a pipeline to LSU.

The last two players in the top ten that are uncommitted are defensive linemen Dylan Berymon and Darryus McKinley. Both players would be massive additions for LSU in the defensive line room and Berymon will be a fast riser in this class after a dominant season. Darryus McKinley is the brother of LSU Freshman Dominick McKinley so LSU will get another chance to pitch a player on playing with their brother.

Two recruits in Mississippi to keep an eye on are Wide Receiver Tristen Keys and Defensive Linemen JaReylan McCoy. Keys is a top ten recruit in the class at Wide Receiver and LSU has gotten him on campus several times. It'll be tough to go into Mississippi and take the top recruit without Ole Miss making a massive push but, LSU's track record with receivers puts them in contention with any receiver. JaReylan McCoy announces his decision on January 2nd with LSU as one of his final three schools.

The most intriguing position to watch will be quarterback as LSU didn't sign a quarterback in the 2025 recruiting class. LSU was in the running for Jonas Williams, Faizion Brandon, and Ryder Lyons but, having Bryce Underwood on board cost LSU but, with the future quarterback up for grabs LSU can now circle back.
