The LSU Baseball season is fully underway as the Tigers are currently two weeks into their chase for an 8th National Championship. During the early portion of the College Baseball season, Weekend Series' and Standalone games are great but, the best way to gauge how talented a team is and where they stack up Nationally can be seen through playing in the major showcase tournaments against other Power Conference teams.
This season, the LSU Tigers will only play in two showcases, as they'll play a single game against Dallas Baptist in the College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field and they'll face Kansas State, Nebraska, and Sam Houston in the Frisco College Baseball Classic.
The Tigers have started to plan out their 2026 schedule and a Major Tournament is in place as LSU will face off in the Karbach Round Rock Classic.

The LSU Tigers are joined by Baylor, Southern Mississippi, and Oregon State making for a loaded tournament field in Round Rock, Texas.
The field is well balanced and it'll give LSU the chance to face off against other teams with NCAA Tournament and National Championship aspirations. In the early portion of the season, it's important that a team gets tested especially before jumping into SEC Play where every team has Top 25 potential.
Oregon State is consistently a Top 25 team sitting at 7th this season which will give LSU the chance to face one of the best teams in the sport. Baylor is outside of the Top 25 but, the Bears are another Power Four team that will give LSU a stronger test than most of the small schools they'll face early in the year. Southern Miss is one of the best teams outside of the Power Conference making them a great team to face as well.
