On Tuesday Night, the LSU Baseball team returned to the diamond after a rough weekend, facing off against the ULL Ragin Cajuns. Leaving the weekend, LSU was looking to get a better showing out of the Tigers' pitching staff. The Tigers' staff only needed to work 7 innings as the offense was dominant which will help in having more arms available this weekend.

Jaden Noot got himself in trouble early as he allowed two singles before an error allowed ULL to take a 1-0 lead.

The good news for Jaden Noot was that LSU's lineup gave him all of the run support you could ask for. The Tigers plated nine in the bottom of the first starting with Derek Curiel and Jared Jones drawing walks before a ground rule double by Daniel Dickinson and a double by Ethan Frey made it 3-1 LSU. The Tigers would then plate another two runs as Cade Arrambide crushed a home run to Left Field.

The bottom of the order and Derek Curiel were able to load the bases for Bear Jones and he made ULL pay, crushing a grand slam to give LSU a 9-1 lead.

ULL would start to chip away at LSU's lead scoring a run in the 2nd inning and a pair of runs in the 4th inning.

LSU then started to cruise to victory, scoring the game's final eight runs starting with a bases-loaded hit by pitch in the bottom of the 4th inning. In the fifth inning, LSU scored a run on a Steven Milam run to centerfield, Cade Arrambide would then drive in Steven Milam with a single before walks by Chris Stanfield, Derek Curiel, and Jared Jones made it 15-4 LSU.

In the bottom of the 6th, LSU did damage one last time as Tanner Reaves blasted a two run homer to right center field.

Jaden Noot got another weekday start for the Tigers and picked up another win, pitching three innings, allowing two runs, one of which was earned, on five hits while striking out a pair. William Schmidt was first out of the bullpen, turning in two innings, allowing a pair of runs on three hits and a walk. Mavrick Rizy then gave Jay Johnson a clean inning, striking out a pair before Connor Benge got a strikeout and Chandler Dorsey recorded the final two outs.

Jared Jones turned in another phenomenal game with a 1-2 day at the plate with three walks, a home run, 5 RBIs, and scored a pair of runs. Cade Arrambide had a monster showing with a 3-4 day at the plate with a home run, three RBIs, and a walk. Tanner Reaves went 1-1 at the plate, raising his season average to .389 as he continues to look like a solid option for LSU.

The Tigers will now look to bounce back in the SEC as the Tigers return host the Mississippi State Bulldogs this weekend.
