The College Basketball transfer portal continues to turn as the thousands of college basketball stars in the portal continue to seek out their next landing spots. Among the players still searching for their next homes are former LSU Tigers as Vyctorius Miller and Corey Chest found their next schools early but, that isn't always the case.

Coming into this week, former LSU Tigers Daimion Collins, Mike Williams III, Tyrell Ward, and Noah Boyde were all still looking for their next schools. On Monday Morning, Noah Boyde was the latest to make his departure official landing at a new school.

Former LSU Center Noah Boyde transfers to Western Kentucky

After one season at LSU, center Noah Boyde is on the move again this time signing with Western Kentucky.

While some transfers are surprising, Noah Boyde entering the transfer portal didn't come as much of a surprise. Noah Boyde missed most of the offseason and the start of the season as he was recovering from a torn ACL he suffered while at McCook Community College.

Missing the offseason and the start of the year made it difficult for Noah Boyde to earn a place in the rotation as he returned near the end of Non-Conference play. The Tigers didn't have a solid chance to work his Noah Boyde back into form which made his decision to transfer where he could find playing time rather easy. The Tigers also couldn't count on Boyde returning to form after the Tigers miserable season which LSU has shown pursuing high end transfers this offseason.

While at LSU, Noah Boyde appeared in five games playing just 11 minutes most of which came with the game in hand during Non-Conference play scoring 7 points on the year. Boyde now lands at Western Kentucky where he should be able to earn significant playing time which can get his career back on track.
