LSU Commit Devin Harper flips to Ole Miss immediately after LSU's embarrassing loss
The LSU Football team fell flat on its face on Saturday losing to a Florida Gators team that hasn't played well all season. The Tigers have now lost three straight games and any momentum the had built up has quickly been reversed. The Tigers entered the day with the top rated recruiting class in the Nation according to On3.
That recruiting class will start taking some hits ahead of National Signing Day as opposing schools can now use LSU's lost season against them. The hits have already started for Brian Kelly and the LSU Football Program as four-star Guard Devin Harper flips his commitment from LSU to Ole Miss.
According to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings, Devin Harper is the 90th ranked player in the class, the 7th ranked interior offensive lineman, and the third ranked player in Louisiana. This cycle we've seen LSU lose two elite In-State commitments flip from LSU as Harper joins four-star cornerback Jaboree Antoine who flipped from LSU to Miami this summer.
LSU's recruiting class now has just three commitments on the offensive line something that LSU will need to change before Early Signing Day on December 4th. The Tigers will most likely lose every offensive lineman aside from DJ Chester to the NFL Draft while they may lose more to the transfer portal.
Expect a ton of flips in the Weeks to come
The loss of Devin Harper won't be the only commitment that LSU loses before National Signing Day as the hits will start coming. Tight End Commitment Mike Tyler is most likely heading to South Carolina as the In-State school has pushed hard to flip him from LSU. Top-100 commit Wide Receiver Derek Meadows has been trending towards Notre Dame and the Irish's momentum will only be helped by LSU's loss.
