After a red hot month of March, the LSU Football program is looking to carry its momentum on the recruting trail into April. March saw LSU fly up the recruiting rankings going from the 6th ranked class to the best class in the country as LSU landed 5-star Tristen Keys and 4-star recruits Jabari Mack and Dylan Purter.
LSU's 2026 recruiting class has a strong base on the offensive side of the football with 6 of the 9 commitments coming from players on offense. The Tigers will look to start balancing out this recruiting class on the defensive end as the recruiting cycle continues and on Wednesday, the Tigers got some news that could start that shift.

On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings rank Deuce Geralds as the 72nd ranked recruit in the Country, the 5th ranked defensive tackle recruit, and the 8th ranked player out of Georgia.
While LSU makes the final ten for Deuce Geralds, the Tigers will have a ton of work cut out for them in the recruitment of Deuce Geralds. Ole Miss will have a leg up on everyone in this recruitment as Deuce's father Daverin Geralds played for the Rebels. Schools like Ohio State, Michigan, and Clemson have all gotten Geralds on campus recently.
The good news for LSU is that the Tigers have hosted Geralds on four different visits but, he's also visited under the past two defensive line coaches which does hurt the Tigers as the continuity isn't there. LSU can pitch Geralds on the chance to play alongside the Nation's top ranked defensive tackle Richard Anderson while LSU remains in play for several elite linemen including 5-star Lamar Brown.
