As the Transfer Portal opened on Monday, the LSU Football team has lost a few players to the transfer portal. The Tigers may also be without a few key starters for the Texas Bowl as some players may sit out of the Bowl Game to ensure they're healthy ahead of the NFL Draft. While LSU awaits decisions from several players on whether or not they'll play in the game, edge rusher Bradyn Swinson has made his decision.

LSU Capital tweeted that Bradyn Swinson will be playing in the Texas Bowl when LSU faces off against Baylor and Swinson reposted the tweet confirming that he'll play one last game in the Purple and Gold.

While the Bowl Game doesn't have much meaning, Swinson announcing he'll play speaks volumes and is another reason why he should be a fan favorite. Bradyn Swinson is clearly a player who bleeds purple and gold which he shows both on the field and in his support of LSU.

Heading into the Bowl Game, Swinson has recorded 54 tackles, 8.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 3 pass deflections. If Swinson could record another sack and a half, getting to double digit sacks on the year would be an incredible milestone for Swinson.

His 8.5 sacks ranks him in a tie for the 9th most sacks in a single season, recording half a sack would put him in a tie for fourth while a full sack will move him into sole possesion of 4th place. Getting to 10 sacks would tie Swinson with Rydell Melancon while Gabe Northern is in 2nd with 11 sacks, and Arden Key's 12 sacks in 2016 ranks the highest in a single season at LSU.
