The third round of the NFL Draft came to a close on Friday Night as over 100 players heard their names called making the transition into the NFL. The first two days of the NFL Draft were a celebration of LSU talent as Will Campbell, Mason Taylor, Emery Jones Jr, and Sai'Vion Jones all heard their names called as NFL Draft picks.

Despite all of the Tigers talent selected during the first two days, two of LSU's biggest stars are still available heading into the 4th round. After watching the LSU Football team this season, all LSU fans are wondering how Bradyn Swinson and Zy Alexander are still available.

This season, Bradyn Swinson was arguably the biggest star on LSU's defense, emerging as an elite pass rusher. After a slow start to his career, Bradyn Swinson exploded for 8.5 sacks with a pair of forced fumbles and three pass deflections. Given the ability Swinson showed at a premium position, it's truly shocking that Swinson hasn't heard his name called yet.

The same can be said for LSU cornerback Zy Alexander who wasn't picked on day two of the 2025 NFL Draft. Alexander has been LSU's top cover cornerback the past two seasons, showing the ability to lock down one side of the field. Given Alexander's ability in press man coverage, he seemed like a third round pick at worst but, will wait another day to hear his name called. In Alexander's case, NFL teams could be concerned with his medicals as he did suffer a torn ACL which could raise red flags.

When will Zy Alexander and Bradyn Swinson get drafted?

As the draft continues on Saturday Afternoon, it's likely that both Bradyn Swinson and Zy Alexander will be 4th round picks. According to ESPN's Draft Rankings, Swinson is the 9th best player available and the top edge rusher available which helps his case. Zy Alexander could end up waiting until the 5th round as he's the 5th ranked cornerback available but, his ability to play man should allow him to sneak into the 4th round.
