The LSU Football team has built the Nation's top ranked recruiting class heading into a crucial Summer of official visits. While the Tigers look to add pieces to this recruiting class, you never want to see players flip their commitment. The Tigers top ranked recruiting class is built on it's wide receiver commitments as Tristen Keys is the top WR in the Country while Jabari Mack and Kenny Darby are 4-star recruits.
The WR that has given LSU fans the most fear over a potential flip is 5-star Tristen Keys who will still take official visits and his commitment to LSU came as a surprise. LSU knows how important keeping all 3 receivers on board is and got the trio back to Baton Rouge over the weekend and the trio then worked out together this week which appeared to be good news for the Tigers.

Kenny Darby committed to LSU back in November shortly after he decommitted from Mississippi State. The Crimson Tide offered Kenny Darby in January but, shortly after the Alabama offer, Kenny Darby announced that he was shutting down his recruitment. After shutting down his recruitment, Darby has since taken a visit to Alabama and has stayed in close contact with Wide Receivers coach Jamarcus Shepard.
Circumstances have changed since Kenny Darby announced his commitment to LSU and since he "shut down" his recruitment. The Tigers have since seen wide receiver Jakai Anderson leave the class while the Tigers added the Nation's top WR Tristen Keys and Louisiana's top WR Jabari Mack. The Tigers haven't stopped recruiting wide receivers as well with several in the class slated to visit LSU this weekend.
Losing Kenny Darby especially to a team LSU has to face every season would be a significant blow to this recruiting class. This season, Kenny Darby caught 100 passes for 2,325 yards and 24 touchdowns ranking 11th in the Country in yards. On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings rank Darby as the 148th ranked player in the class, the 21st ranked wide receiver in the class, and the 7th ranked player in Louisiana.
