The transfer portal has taken all of the attention in College Football over the last week as players across the Country look to trade places finding their next school. While the transfer portal is the event garnering the most attention, the traditional recruiting cycle still remains in play as team's around the Country prepare to put themselves in a great position heading into the summer when top recruits will take official visits.

The LSU Football program has done an incredible job as the Tigers currently hold the Nation's top ranked recruiting class in the Country. Aside from being built on players from Louisiana, the Tigers class is especially built on wide receivers as LSU has four blue-chip playmakers on board with no signs of slowing down.

Elite Wide Receiver Somourian Wingo names LSU in his Top 5

On Monday Morning, the LSU Football program continued its dominance with wide receiver recruits cracking the Top 5 for elite wide receiver recruit Somourian Wingo in a loaded field with Alabama, Miami, South Carolina, and Florida.

According to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings, Wingo is the 157th ranked player in the Class, the 23rd ranked wide receiver, and the 21st ranked player out of Florida.

The LSU Tigers aren't one of the top teams pushing for Wingo as both Florida and Miami have put on a full court press to keep the Sunshine State product at home which gives them a leg up in this recruiting class.

It's also difficult to gauge how interested in Wingo LSU truly is based on how this recruiting class is currently built. The Tigers already hold commitments from the Nation's top WR Tristen Keys as well as Louisiana's top WR Jabari Mack as well as In-State recruits Kenny Darby and Jakai Anderson. The Tigers will continue to keep pursuing every wide receiver as anyone can flip at any given moment but, with a loaded class on board Wingo may end up looking elsewhere.
