LSU Football extends a scholarship offer to one of the Nation's top offensive tackles
The LSU Football team is going to start to push even harder for recruits in the 2026 recruiting class as the season winds down. This is as the 2025 recruiting cycle is starting to slow down while LSU now has another season worth of film to judge these recruits on. LSU has started to build in this class landing four in-state recruits but, LSU hasn't made the splash out of state.
The Tigers have extended an offer to a recruit that LSU would desperately want of land as they offered offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho a scholarship.
Iheanacho is a unanimous top ten recruit according to every recruiting services as three of the four list him a top five recruit. It will be a tough recruitment for LSU as most of the Northeast schools will have home turf advantage with the Maryland native.
The good news for LSU that if you wanted anyone handling an out of state recruitment like this its Brad Davis. Davis has gone out of state to land top recruits like he has in the 2025 cycle luring Carius Curne the top recruit out of Arkansas.
After this spring, Brad Davis will also have the chance to pitch recruits on the fact that he just developed two offensive tackles into first round picks as Will Campbell and Emery Jones Jr are both projected first round picks.
We'll have to wait and see if LSU is able to get Iheanacho onto campus for an unofficial visit this season as the atmosphere at Tiger Stadium weighs heavily on LSU's recruiting targets.
