The 2025 NFL Draft is just days away as the first round of the draft will kick off on Thursday April 24th in Green Bay. While the first round is the most important as team's look to land blue chip pieces to help bolster their rosters, Friday Night kicks off day two where teams will make their 2nd and 3rd round selections which is nearly as important as it could net a team another cornerstone piece.
One of the best traditions as of late has become former players announcing draft picks for their franchise on day two and day three. This season, the NFL already has set a list of players announcing selections and LSU fans should be delighted.
Patrick Peterson and Michael Brockers to announce Day Two picks at the NFL Draft
For LSU fans watching the 2025 NFL Draft, you'll want to pay extra attention to the Arizona Cardinals and the Los Angeles Rams as Patrick Peterson and Michael Brockers will announce Day Two selections.
Fresh off of retiring from the NFL by signing a one-day contract with the Arizona Cardinals, Patrick Peterson will have the honor of announcing one of the team's Day Two selections. While LSU fans call Patrick Peterson an All-Time legend and one of the best ever, Arizona Cardinals truly feel that way as he was an 8-time Pro Bowl selection and 3-time All Pro while in Arizona.
The Rams rarely have NFL Draft picks because of all the trades they make on a yearly basis but, this year they own most of their picks. This year, the Los Angeles Rams own two third round picks and will have former LSU Tiger and Rams fan favorite Michael Brockers announcing one of or both of the picks.
It would be pretty special to see both announce former Tigers heading to their former franchises especially if it’s Zy Alexander heading to Arizona and either Bradyn Swinson or Sai’Vion Jones heading to Los Angeles Rams.
