As LSU currently holds the Nation's top ranked recruiting class, the Tigers are actively looking to see who will be next on board in this recruiting class. The month of March saw LSU rack up top commitments sending LSU's class from 6th in the Country to the Nation's top class and in April they'll look to continue their recruiting surge.
The Tigers will be looking to continue their momentum ahead of the Summer, where official visits will take place. On Monday, LSU got great news with one of their targets as linebacker JJ Bush set an official visit to LSU.
The LSU Football program isn't going after a ton of linebackers in the 2026 recruiting class after signing a massive linebacker class in the 2025 class which should tell you a ton about how LSU feels about JJ Bush.
Ever since Blake Baker offered JJ Bush this winter, the LSU Football team has been making a push for the Alabama Native. The Tigers hosted JJ Bush earlier this Spring while they also made his Top Ten but, are one of the four schools that will host him on an official visit.
On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings rank JJ Bush as the 546th ranked player in the class, the 45th ranked linebacker, and the 22nd ranked player out of Alabama. While the recruiting services aren't as high on JJ Bush, Blake Baker clearly is and last recruiting cycle we saw Baker in on several top linebacker before they flew up the recruiting rankings.
Aside from making JJ Bush a clear top priority in this class, Blake Baker and LSU will have plenty going for them in this recruiting class. LSU isn't going up against any of the In-State schools for Bush while LSU will have one of the top linebackers in next year's NFL Draft in Whit Weeks which only helps their pitch.
