All of the latest news around the LSU Football team's efforts to build out the 2026 recruiting class while building the 2027 recruiting board offering top recruits. The past two weeks have been filled with news of LSU offering elite 2026 and 2027 recruits scholarships while some of the Coaches including Brian Kelly have gone on the road as the recruiting process truly ramps up with transfer activity dying down.

One of latest offers by LSU's Coaching staff comes as Edge Rushers Coach Kevin Peoples continues his flurry of offers as he extended an offer to Edge Rush recruit Kamhariyan Johnson.

Kevin Peoples made the trip to Muscle Shoals, Alabama to offer Johnson as his recruitment starts to pick up steam. The only recruiting service to rank Johnson is Rivals thus far as they rank him a three-star recruit ranked as the 27th ranked edge rusher in the class and the 19th ranked player out of Alabama.

Johnson should receive a massive rankings boost once the Recruiting Services reevaluate as he's been offered by Alabama, Florida, LSU, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Tennessee among others which are impressive offers for an edge rusher.

After the visit, Johnson was excited about the offer and said he's excited to build a relationship with Kevin Peoples.

"I feel like he's a great coach with a good personality."

The LSU Football team will be looking to load up on the defensive line as there will be a ton of departures this offseason. At edge rusher, LSU will lose Jimari Butler, Jack Pyburn, and Patrick Payton as well as Jacobian Guillory on the interior as all four are Seniors.

The Tigers will most likely sign a massive class at edge rusher this recruiting cycle after only signing Damien Shanklin during the last cycle.
