Following this weekends "Boys in the Boot" Junior Day Recruiting Event, the Tigers have moved into wait and see mode. The Recruiting Dead Period is in place running through March 2nd which means schools can't host or contact recruits. Following the event, LSU is waiting on news from the elite recruits whether it comes in the form of Commitments, Official Visits, or when a recruit cuts its list of schools down keeping LSU in the hunt.
The Tigers have already gotten massive news from In-State Five Star Lamar Brown who's final official visit will be to LSU and Safety Commit Aiden Hall who affirmed his commitment to LSU. Out of State recruits Brandon Arrington and Khary Adams included LSU in their finalist groups.
The latest wave of good news comes as In-State Wide Receiver Jabari Mack has scheduled four official visits with the LSU Tigers on that list.

According to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings, Mack is the 82nd ranked player in the class the 15th ranked wide receiver, and the 6th ranked player out of Louisiana.
Not only will LSU get a visit from Jabari Mack but, the Tigers will get the final visit after Ohio State and both Texas schools. The three other schools getting visits from Mack are among the most prominent in the NIL Game and while NIL is just a piece of the puzzle its a big piece.
Keeping Jabari Mack In State is one of the biggest priorities this recruiting cycle after LSU only signed two wide receivers during the 2025 recruiting cycle. The Tigers have had great success recruiting Destrehan as its given LSU players in Justin Jefferson and former teammates to Mack in Kolaj Cobbins, Jhase Thomas, and Phillip Wright.
LSU has made a great start to the 2026 recruiting class with two commitments from In-State stars Kenny Darby and Jakai Anderson. The Tigers have had the most success with wide receivers out of Louisiana and landing Jabari Mack would only help in continuing the trend.
