This year the SEC underwent a massive shift as the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners joined the SEC leaving the Big 12. The two entered the Conference with the hopes of setting out and dominating proving they're among the best in the Country across all sports not just football. While the jury is still out for most of the sports Oklahoma hasn't fared so well.
While Oklahoma had the hopes of besting most of the SEC, the LSU Tigers have beaten down on Oklahoma in any sport the two have faced off in.
During the College Football season, the Sooners came into Death Valley riding high off of their upset win over Alabama. When the Sooners seemingly knocked Garrett Nussmeier out of the game it looked like the Sooners would end off the season on a high note. Then Garrett Nussmeier came back into the game and the Tigers scored 37 points on Oklahoma the most the Sooners allowed the entire season.

The two schools then met as the Nation's two top schools in Women's Gymnastics in one of the biggest matchups you'll ever see. The Lady Tigers came out victorious certainly grabbing the crown as the Nation's top team while handing Oklahoma its first loss of the year.

This weekend, Oklahoma had its best chance at handing LSU a loss as the LSU Basketball team had lost seven straight games. When Oklahoma led by 5 with just 25 seconds left in the game it looked like the Sooners would get their first win over the Tigers. Instead, Cam Carter hit a three pointer while drawing a foul before LSU stole the ball and Cam Carter made a layup while getting fouled giving LSU the win.

Its only year one for Oklahoma in the SEC and the Baseball and Softball teams will face off later in the year but, thus far the Tigers have dominated the Sooners. When the Sooners joined the SEC, the hope was that they could dominate the Conference, instead they've landed on being dominated by LSU.
