This weekend marks the final regular season game for the LSU Football team and luckily the Tigers get to play the game at home. Given that the game is being played in Tiger Stadium, it gives LSU one last chance to host recruits on visits which will help them in nailing down this recruiting class as well as with building relationships in the 2026 and 2027 classes. LSU is already hosting DJ Pickett and Derek Meadows but, that isn't all for the star studded group of recruits.

On Saturday, LSU will host the top quarterback in the 2027 recruiting class as Elijah Haven will return to campus.

According to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings, Elijah Haven is the 3rd ranked recruit in the 2027 class, the top quarterback, and the top player in Louisiana. On Friday Night, Haven led Dunham to a come from behind win over Lafayette Christian.

After losing Bryce Underwood to Michigan, landing Elijah Haven becomes an even bigger priority for LSU. Many schools are pushing for Haven such as Michigan and Ole Miss but, LSU has the massive advantage of being the in-state school.

The Tigers were pushing for former Michigan commit Brady Hart but, he flipped his commitment to Texas A&M and reclassified into the 2025 recruiting class. The biggest hope for LSU would be that they could do the same with Haven landing him in the 2026 recruiting class rather than having to target a bridge younger quarterback.

The Tigers do still have the chance of flipping a quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class as they were a finalist for several top quarterbacks in the class but, lost out as they had Bryce Underwood on board blocking quarterbacks from playing early on.
