The attention for LSU's staff currently is building out the 2026 recruiting class with the season now over and the transfer portal activity finally slowing down. The Tigers currently hold the Nation's 5th ranked class in the 2026 class with 6 players already committed to LSU. As the recruiting dead period quickly approaches, LSU's staff has been traveling all over meeting with recruits and offering scholarships to some of the Nation's best.
One of the latest offers goes out to Four-Star Linebacker Brayden Rouse out of Georgia.

According to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings, Brayden Rouse is the 275th best player in the 2026 class, the 22nd ranked linebacker, and the 33rd ranked player out of Georgia. The Tigers are coming off of a massive cycle recruiting linebackers as the Tigers signed four elite linebackers in Jaiden Braker, Charles Ross, Keylan Moses, and Zach Weeks.
The Tigers will likely look to sign another massive class at linebacker as LSU could lose West Weeks, Whit Weeks, and Harold Perkins next year to the NFL Draft.
The Tigers have found recruiting success in Georgia as of late landing recruits like Zach and Whit Weeks, DJ Chester, and Jaiden Braker among other top recruits. It will be tough for LSU to win out in this recruitment over the home team in the Georgia Bulldogs and other SEC programs like Tennessee who has made their push.
The next step for LSU will be getting Brayden Rouse on campus this Spring for a visit and then hopefully in the fall for a few games.
