The first week of the transfer portal saw LSU only suffer losses as Tyrell Ward, Mike Williams III, Corey Chest, Noah Boyde, and Vyctorius Miller entered the transfer portal. As LSU's transfer portal losses began to slow down, the Tigers additions started flowing in adding Dedan Thomas Jr, Mike Nwoko, Rashad King, and Max Mackinnon jumped on board.
While the LSU Tigers started to add key pieces, the roster began to get a bit crowded which signaled that a second wave of losses could be on the horizon. On Friday, the Tigers saw another veteran enter the transfer portal, clearing more room on the roster and especially in the front court.

Daimion Collins started his career as a Five Star forward signing with John Calipari and Kentucky. Collins spent two seasons at Kentucky, playing in 52 games in a limited role as he lost 15 pounds after his father unexpectedly passed away.
Looking for a Fresh start, Daimion Collins transferred into LSU where he'd spend two seasons with the Tigers. In Collins first season he played just six games, as he suffered a dislocated shoulder in a game he was dominating. This past season at LSU, Daimion Collins had the best season of his career scoring 8.0 points per game while grabbing 4.3 rebounds per game.
It's not surprising to see Daimion Collins entering the transfer portal but, it's surprising that he didn't enter the transfer portal as soon as the cycle began. LSU often had Collins playing center which put him at a disadvantage but, on a new team, Collins should have his best season yet. LSU's front court is loaded with Robert Miller III, Jalen Reed, Mike Nwoko, and Matt Gilhool all on board.
