While the final two games of the regular season were disappointing, the LSU Women's Basketball team had an incredible year. The Lady Tigers had an incredible regular season with a 27-4 record and a 12-4 record in SEC Play losing its two final games as the team dealt with injuries. Heading into postseason play, the Lady Tigers are the Nation's 9th ranked team and will be looking to head on a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.
The Lady Tigers couldn't have had the season they've had without the incredible play of its big three. Aneesah Morrow, Flau'Jae Johnson, and Mikaylah Williams have formed arguably the most dominant trio in the Country powering LSU all season long.
On Tuesday, the SEC released its All-SEC team's and the Tigers made history as Aneesah Morrow, Flau'Jae Johnson, and Mikaylah Williams all made the First Team All-SEC. This marks the first time in program history that LSU has had three first team honorees. LSU is the fifth program to acheive the feat that has only happened 10 times.
Aneesah Morrow earned First Team All-SEC honors and All-Defensive Team honors after sweeping USA Today's Honors with First Team All-SEC, All-SEC Defensive Player, and SEC Player of the Year honors. Morrow has been a force for LSU all season long averaging a double double scoring 18.2 points per game with 14.0 rebounds per game.

Flau'Jae Johnson has been the leader of the team all season long and while her scoring gets the most attention she has been a key cog in LSU's defense. Johnson is scoring a team leading 18.9 points per game while shooting 46.5% from the field and 37.2% from three. Johnson will miss the SEC Tournament with an injury but, she'll be a key piece in determining how far LSU goes this March.

Finally, Mikaylah Williams has been one of the most underrated players in the Country in part because of her teammates' success. Williams is scoring 17.5 points per game with 3.2 assists per game and 4.3 rebounds per game. There may not be a better player in isolation than Williams and she'll need to take her game to the next level while Flau'Jae is out.
