Official Visit season is upon us as the Nation's top recruits will start crossing the Country making their official visits to programs before announcing their commitments. For the LSU Football program, this Summer is a pivotal point in the recruiting calendar as the Tigers hold the Nation's top ranked recruiting class but, with just 9 commitments the team will need to start building out this class.
The good news for the Tigers is that some of the Nation's top recruits will make their way to campus in the coming weekends, while several have already cut down their lists of schools in contention, including LSU. One of the latest recruits to cut down his list of programs in contention will make his way to campus this weekend.

The timing of Evers' announcement is good news for the LSU Football program as the Tigers will host Drew Evers on an official visit this weekend. Evers will be on campus for one of the Tigers biggest recruiting weekends of the year as the Tigers look to make a move with some of the best players in the recruiting class.
On3's Industry Recruiting rankings tab Evers as a 4-star recruit ranking as the 218th best player in the class, the 16th ranked Interior Offensive Lineman, and the 30th ranked player out of Texas.
The LSU Football team has already set a foundation on the offensive line in the class with commitments from In-State recruits Brysten Martinez and Jalan Chapman. The Tigers have also positioned themselves nicely with several elite offensive linemen and making a move with Evers would only set LSU up for an exciting summer.
