The Spring is officially underway in College Football as programs returned to the practice field this week. The teams weren't the only group to return to campuses as recruits have started to make their rounds to campus as they eye their next program. This Spring, LSU's campus will be crowded as several top recruits have started to arrive on campus and have top visitors slated to visit each week going forward.

As LSU continues to make waves on the recruiting trail, the Tigers continue to land in the final group of teams for several top recruits. The latest recruit to name LSU in his top ten is Alabama linebacker JJ Bush who named LSU one of his ten top schools.

According to On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings, JJ Bush is the 529th ranked player in the class, the 44th ranked linebacker in the class, and the 22nd ranked player out of Alabama. On3's Recruiting Prediction Machine gives Miami the best chance to land JJ Bush at 56.9% with Tulane in second place.

While JJ Bush isn't one of the highest ranked linebackers it's important to remember what Blake Baker did last cycle. Blake Baker was ahead of most schools in identifying top linebackers and as the cycle went along they went from three stars to four stars as other schools start to make late pushes.

The linebacker position is one of the most interesting positions to watch for LSU in this recruiting class. The Tigers will lose West Weeks and Harold Perkins Jr following this season while Whit Weeks is a candidate to be a top draft pick. On the other hand, LSU just signed a massive recruiting class at linebacker and have a few young linebackers who'll compete to replace LSU's veterans which could cause younger linebackers to look elsewhere.
