All of the latest news around the LSU Football team's efforts to build out the 2026 recruiting class while building the 2027 recruiting class. This weekend, LSU hosted Wide Receiver Commit Kenny Darby as Out of State schools push for the Louisiana star. The Tigers also extended several offers to elite recruits in the 2026 and 2027 classes as the staff builds out their recruiting boards.
One of the latest offers comes as Co-Offensive Coordinator and Wide Receiver's Coach Cortez Hankton and the LSU Staff extended a scholarship offer to 2026 Wide Receiver Zion Robinson.

As things currently stand, Zion Robinson is a Four-Star Wide Receiver ranked as the 150th best player in the 2026 class, the 24th ranked Wide Receiver, and the 15th ranked player out of Texas.
Zion Robinson is a massive target at 6 foot 4 and 180 pounds but, for his size he has impressive speed running a 10.8 100m and he runs crisp routes.

The Wide Receiver position is one that LSU has to pursue this recruiting cycle after only signing two wide receivers last cycle. Kenny Darby and Jakai Anderson are both In-State Wide Receivers who have committed to LSU but, the Tigers will still look to add another wide receiver or two to this class. The Tigers remain in the running for elite In-State Wide Receiver Jabari Mack out of Destrehan which makes him a top receiver to keep an eye on.
Last recruiting cycle, LSU made a strong push for Out of State wide receivers but, couldn't win out for one reason or another. If the Tigers are going to land another elite receiver or two they'll need to land a playmaker from Out of State.
