The LSU Football program has had one of the most dominant stretches in the Country on the recruiting trail this Spring. Brian Kelly and his staff have won key battles nabbing 5-star Tristen Keys, 4-star Jabari Mack, and 4-star Dylan Purter which has helped LSU's class rise all the way to 2nd in the Country at times occupying the top class ranking. LSU's dominance landing blue chip recruits has given the Tigers a chance to finish the recruiting cycle with the top ranked class but, LSU currently only holds 9 commitments.
Heading into the summer, LSU will look to continue adding to this class when it hosts elite talents for official visits which could determine if this is another Top 10 signing class or one of the best classes in America. The LSU Football program starts this week off with news that could certainly shape how high LSU's recruiting class finishes the cycle.

On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings list Darius Gray as 5-star recruit ranked as the 32nd ranked player in the Class, the top interior offensive lineman, and the 2nd ranked player out of Virginia.
Brad Davis has made it a tradition to sign a 5-star offensive lineman on a yearly basis and Darius Gray could be next in line for the Tigers. LSU should be helped in this recruiting class by the fact that 4 of their 5 starting offensive linemen were picked in the 2025 NFL Draft including Will Campbell who went 4th overall.
If LSU lands Darius Gray he'd be the Tigers 3rd 5-star commitment joining Tristen Keys and Richard Anderson. The Tigers also hold top-100 commitments from Havon Finney Jr, Jabari Mack, and Aiden Hall who can all make a run at 5-star status. The Tigers have been dominant on the recruiting trail this year and have shown no signs of slowing down making for an exciting year for LSU fans.
