The world of College Football continues to change on what feels like a daily basis as the sport continues to search for a proper structure with NIL and the transfer portal. As the sport continues to change, the coaching staffs and programs need to evolve with the changes rather than getting left behind. One of the changes being made around College Football is building front offices that resemble ones we've grown familiar with in the NFL.

The LSU Football team has a leader of the front office in Austin Thomas who was previously the General Manager under Ed Orgeron but, he now oversees the entire football program working hand in hand with Brian Kelly.

On Monday Night, the LSU Football team continued to build out its front office as LSU poached Ole Miss staffer Jai Choudhary as the Tigers' next Associate Director of Player Personnel.

What will stand out to LSU fans is that the Tigers hired Choudhary away from Ole Miss which actually gives Choudhary LSU ties. Choudhary comes with ties to LSU's front office as he was on Ole Miss' staff while Austin Thomas was the Rebels Football Chief of Staff and Sport Administrator.

While the hire won't be a groundbreaking hire or a massive move for LSU, the Tigers continue to build out their front office staff, which is encouraging to see. As changes to college football such as the potential arrival of revenue sharing in the sport continue to add pieces to juggle, it's important to have a staff in place that can handle the every day changes while the coaches focus on the field.

This season has seen LSU take the next step in building up its front office and way of procuring resources, adapting after being slow to embrace NIL and the transfer portal. The changes should allow LSU to remain competitive on the recruiting trail and in the transfer portal which should keep LSU in the National Championship hunt on a yearly basis.
