All of the focus for the LSU Football program as of late has been on the recruiting trail as the fear of losing players to the transfer portal is gone until the Spring and LSU signed all of its incoming Freshmen and Transfers. The past few weeks Brian Kelly and his staff have circled the Country visiting top recruits at their schools and dropped in for In Home visits.

This weekend, the LSU Football team will host it's Junior Day which is one of the biggest and most important recruiting events of the year. Ahead of this weekend's event, the LSU Football team appears to have momentum with one of their top recruiting targets in the 2027 recruiting class.

On3's Steve Wiltfong has predicted that LSU will land the Top Tight End in the 2027 recruiting class Ahmad Hudson.

On3's Industry Recruiting Rankings tab Hudson as the 12th ranked player in the Country, the Top Tight End in the Country and the 2nd ranked player out of Louisiana.

Ahmad Hudson is an LSU Legacy Recruit which makes him a massive must get for Brian Kelly and his staff especially as they also have the advantage of being the In-State school. Ahmad's father Antonio Hudson was a star for the LSU Basketball team from 2002-2005 twice being named to the All-SEC Tournament team.

Ahmad Hudson himself is a great basketball player in addition to being a force on the football field. Two Weeks ago, Hudson posted an absurd statline of 28 points, 26 rebounds, and 6 blocks helping Ruston beat West Monroe.

If Ahmad Hudson also wants to play Colleg Basketball, Matt McMahon has shown that's a possibility with the way he's started to play Trey'Dez Green.

There is a ton of time until the 2027 recruiting class signs with their future schools but, the LSU Football team has to officially get Ahmad Hudson on board and hang onto his commitment all the way through National Signing Day.
