This weekend, the LSU Football program had a massive weekend of unofficial visits in the second weekend following the end of the recruiting dead period. The weekend was a massive weekend for LSU as the Tigers got some help from the Battle 7 on 7 tournament being played in New Orleans which brought some of the Nation's top recruits to Louisiana.

One of the recruits who returned to Louisiana is elite wide receiver recruit Ethan "Boobie" Feaster fresh off of his decision to reclassify into the 2026 recruiting class. Feaster was ranked as the top wide receiver in the 2027 recruiting class but, after moving up a class, Feaster is ranked as the 40th ranked recruit in the class and the fourth ranked receiver in the class.

After making the trip to Baton Rouge this weekend, the Tigers have been predicted to land the elite wide receiver as On3's Chad Simmons and Steve Wiltfong have made their picks predicting LSU will land the commitment.

The news is massive for LSU coming off of the recruiting weekend as the Tigers take the drivers seat for Boobie Feaster. After Feaster reclassified it significantly sped up his timeline but, the fact that LSU has been after Feaster for a long time paired with his Louisiana roots gives the Tigers a massive leg up in this recruitment.

In this recruiting class, LSU already has a pair of star wide receivers holding commitments from In-State four stars Kenny Darby and Jakai Anderson. Landing Boobie Feaster would give the Tigers a third high end wide receiver which would be a massive haul for Cortez Hankton.

This cycle was always going to be a massive recruiting for Cortez Hankton after losing commitments from Dakorien Moore and Derek Meadows while signing just two wide receivers in the 2025 recruiting class. The Tigers may not be done at the position yet either as LSU is in the running for Destrehan's Jabari Mack, Five Star Tristen Keys, and several other wide receivers in what could be a massive class.
