On Sunday, the LSU Women's Basketball team picked up another massive win over the Tennessee Volunteers giving the Lady Tigers another Top 25 win. As LSU continued to stack wins while UConn, South Carolina, Duke, and TCU also suffered losses, the Top 10 teams in the AP Poll all had to undergo a shakeup.
As LSU moved to 25-1, the Lady Tigers return to the Top 5 of the AP Poll for the first time since losing to South Carolina.

The Tigers have climbed up the rankings in back to back weeks after climbing from 7th to 6th and now from 6th to 5th. LSU moves ahead of the UConn Huskies who fell from 5th to 7th after losing to Tennessee who LSU has beaten twice.
The SEC has a three team race for the Regular Season Championship after Texas beat South Carolina tying South Carolina, Texas, and LSU atop the SEC Standings while Kentucky also has just one loss but, has played two less conference games. The SEC frontrunners headline the AP Poll as Texas ranks 3rd, South Carolina ranks 4th, and LSU ranks 5th.
The LSU Women's Basketball team can still move their way back up the AP Poll and they can still impact the race in the SEC. This week, LSU faces 3rd ranked Texas which could vault LSU up the AP Poll once again while games still lie ahead of the Tigers as they'll face 8th ranked Kentucky and 21st ranked Alabama as the team still can build one of the most impressive resumes in the Country.
As LSU looks to jockey for a Top Seed in the NCAA Tournament, the Lady Tigers have an impressive resume with a win over 10th ranked NC State, two wins over 15th ranked Tennessee, a win over 16th ranked Oklahoma, and the Tigers biggest opportunities lie ahead.
