The matchup for Super Bowl LX is set as the Seattle Seahawks will take on the New England Patriots at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, CA on February 8. Once again, the LSU Football program will be well-represented.

On Monday, LSU Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette took to X (formerly Twitter) to showcase the impressive Super Bowl streak that LSU is on. A total of five former Tigers will suit up for Super Bowl LX, which brings the streak of LSU alumni playing in the Super Bowl to a whopping 25 years. That is the longest current streak in all of college football.

LSU Football continues to be well-represented at the Super Bowl

The LSU alums playing in this year's Super Bowl include Kayshon Boutte, Will Campbell, K’Lavon Chaisson, and Bradyn Swinson for the Patriots, and Anthony Bradford for the Seahawks. A sixth Tiger alum, Jaquelin Roy, is currently on IR with the Patriots and won't be able to play.

As Bonnette notes, LSU's impressive Super Bowl streak began back in 2002 when Kevin Faulk took the field for the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXVI. At least one former Tiger has represented LSU in each Super Bowl since then, and this year's field of five former Tigers is the most since 2022.

Through Super Bowl LIX in 2025, the LSU Football program boasts 50 Super Bowl winners who have won 61 total rings. A total of 10 former LSU players have won multiple Super Bowls, with Booger McFarland and Randall Gay as the only former Tigers to win a Super Bowl with two different teams. Kevin Faulk is LSU's lone 3-time Super Bowl champion, as he won titles with the Patriots in 2002, 2004, and 2005. All five LSU alums in Super Bowl LX would be first-time champions.

Kick-off between the Seahawks and Patriots is set for 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, February 8. The Seahawks are currently favored by 4.5 points in what should be a great game to watch unfold.
