Lane Kiffin has been on the job at LSU for two months, and he has already generated plenty of hype surrounding the LSU Football program. Kiffin has inked the No. 1 transfer portal class in the country, which includes 5-star recruits Sam Leavitt, Princewill Umanmielen, and Jordan Seaton.

Kiffin also signed a trio of 5-stars during the Early Signing Period: Lamar Brown, Richard Anderson, and Corey Barber. Now, he has his eyes on another 5-star recruit.
Joshua Dobson gives a rave review of his weekend visit to LSU
The LSU Football program hosted several top recruits over the weekend, but none bigger than 5-star cornerback Joshua Dobson. The No. 1 cornerback in the country arrived in Baton Rouge on Thursday night and stayed in town until Sunday.
In an interview with Rivals, Dobson described his trip to Baton Rouge as an "amazing weekend." That comment has LSU fans fired up about the possibility of landing the top corner in the country for the 2027 recruiting class. He also took to social media to post a picture with Kiffin during the visit.

This weekend's visit was Dobson's second to Baton Rouge. He was in attendance for LSU's 20-10 victory over South Carolina at Tiger Stadium back on October 11. The atmosphere in Death Valley that night was arguably the best of the season, and his positive review of his second visit gives LSU even more momentum in his recruitment. Tiger fans are hoping that Dobson's visits to LSU over the last six months have put LSU in the driver's seat.
As it stands, LSU's 2027 class features 4-star EDGE Jaiden Bryant and 4-star QB Peyton Houston. Adding Dobson to the mix would be a great get for Kiffin and the Tigers.
But Kiffin and his staff still have their work cut out for them. Dobson still has a total of 12 schools in the mix, and all of them figure to keep rolling out the red carpet in an effort to land his services. As it stands, Dobson is still considering LSU, Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech.
