The LSU Tigers currently hold a lead on the Texas A&M Aggies with a 17 to 7 lead but, the Aggies get the ball at half time. The Tigers have been clicking on offense but, the Tigers have suffered an injury that could spell trouble. Senior Left Guard Garrett Dellinger went down on a run play late in the second quarter and limped off the field and into the injury tent.

As Tyree Adams had surgery a few weeks ago, LSU already was down its sixth offensive lineman as Adams can play anywhere meaning Freshman Paul Mubenga came in to replace Dellinger.

The injury was no problem for LSU as the Tigers instantly scored on a 76 yard touchdown between Aaron Anderson and Garrett Nussmeier.

When LSU came back onto the field Paul Mubenga remained on the field at Left Guard while Dellinger was out. The broadcast stated that Dellinger was being taped up and testing his ankle on the sideline which is hopeful that his injury won't be a long term issue.

Regardless of who plays for LSU, the Tigers should be fine as the offense was able to score a touchdown and a had another great drive lost by a missed field goal with Dellinger out of the game. Given that LSU has a bye week next weekend followed by a massive game against Alabama, it makes the most sense to be cautious with Dellinger unless LSU absolutely needs him.
