The LSU Football team has been firing on all cylinders since the transfer portal opened as it feels like the Tigers are landing a key piece for 2025 every hour. The Tigers have landed just about every transfer target they've hosted on a visit and the results are going to be a loaded roster for the 2025 season.

The two key players in helping LSU piece together this incredible transfer class have been the team's two biggest leaders, Whit Weeks and Garrett Nussmeier. Whit Weeks spoke with the media on Friday and talked about how he and Nussmeier have been helping with each visit.

"It's pretty much me and Nuss kind of leading the charge of hanging out with these dudes. I mean we've had the center from Virginia Tech (Braelin Anderson), Nic Anderson, all the guys we get together have a good time anytime anybody comes in town."
Whit Weeks

Weeks then spoke on what he's doing to help recruits understand LSU and the program and revealed his biggest pitch to these players which is his belief in Garrett Nussmeier and the team as he believes this is going to be a Championship Group.

"I ask them what they want to know about LSU like what do you want to know about Baton Rouge like what are your worries about coming here and then I answer all their questions. I just tell them look we're building something special here we're going to win a Championship next year there's no doubt about it. I have more belief in Nuss than probably anybody does. I think he's going to win the Heisman next year and that's really my pitch I'm like dude you're going to come in and play with all these great players around you which only makes you better."

It's now easy to see why LSU is on the run they are right now as it'd be tough to get pitched by Whit Weeks and leave town without committing. It's incredible to see how much the players are putting into leading the charge and should an takeaway from this run LSU is on in the Portal. We'll see how LSU finishes off this transfer portal cycle but, with Weeks and Nussmeier leading the charge, the two stars should continue to land exciting pieces to surround themselves with.
