One of if not the biggest concern for LSU as we shift from the 2024 season to the 2025 season is the offensive line. The Tigers will lose veterans Will Campbell, Emery Jones, Garrett Dellinger and Miles Frazier as they're off to the NFL. In the Texas Bowl, LSU was without Will Campbell, Emery Jones, and Garrett Dellinger which meant the Tigers got to try out some of their potential pieces of the future out.

The Tigers offensive line moved Miles Frazier to right tackle while DJ Chester returns at center but, the other three positions were held by Tyree Adams at Left Tackle, Paul Mubenga at Left Guard, and Bo Bordelon at right guard. During the game we also saw Coen Echols at Guard and Weston Davis at right tackle.

While it wasn't against the greatest defensive front, the Tigers new group up front played above expectations. Garrett Nussmeier passed the football 34 times, not once did Nussmeier get sacked and the lack of pressure gave him plenty of time to pass for 304 yards and 3 touchdowns. Given how often LSU passed, the group only allowing 2 quarterback hurries is a great sign.

In the rushing attack, LSU picked up 114 yards on the ground averaging 4.2 yards per carry as at times the line opened up massive holes for the running backs. In total, LSU only allowed a loss of three yards on rushing plays keeping the offense moving forward.

This offseason, LSU has already landed transfers Braelin Moore and Josh Thompson which brings two maulers with years of experience to the line. If Chester remains in the starting lineup then LSU only needs to break in two inexperienced players which is managable. The play Tyree Adams showed at left tackle is encouraging and if Thompson plays right tackle then the Tigers do have guards with experience.

The group will be inexperienced in 2025 but, the Tigers have plenty of talent up front which will only get better in camp.
