One of the biggest names still available in the college football transfer portal is Colorado offensive tackle Jordan Seaton. The 6'5" 330-pound star lineman was a consensus 5-star prospect and ranked as the No. 1 OT in the 2024 recruiting class according to Rivals. He spent the last 2 seasons with the Buffaloes, and now plans to spend the 2026 season with a new team.
Former LSU QB Walker Howard makes surprising transfer decision for 2026
As Lane Kiffin continues building LSU's roster for 2026, he appears to be very interested making Seaton a Tiger. According to Pete Nakos of On3, LSU will be hosting Seaton for a visit on Thursday. Given his elite skill set and current NIL valuation of $1.7 million according to On3, a massive bidding war could be underway to land his services for 2026.

Jordan Seaton set to visit LSU, but Oregon and Texas are also in the mix
Seaton is drawing heavy interest from several elite programs. At this time, it appears that LSU's biggest competitors in the fight for Seaton are the Oregon Ducks and Texas Longhorns. Oregon QB Dante Moore announced that he would be returning to Oregon next season, which is huge for Dan Lanning and the Ducks. Seaton took to social media shortly after learning of Moore's return.

Tiger fans are hoping that Moore's return isn't enough to lure Seaton to Eugene. Kiffin has revamped LSU's QB room with Sam Leavitt, Husan Longstreet, and Landen Clark. As he continues reshaping LSU's offensive line, landing Seaton would be a monster get.
Seaton is ranked as the No. 2 offensive lineman in the portal by Saturday Blitz, and is the top lineman still on the market. In 2 seasons playing for Deion Sanders in Boulder, Seaton allowed just 5 sacks over the course of 948 pass blocking snaps.
LSU's offensive line was completely decimated by the transfer portal. Offensive line departures include Carius Curne (Ole Miss), Tyree Adams (Texas A&M), Paul Mubenga (Nebraska), Coen Echols (Texas A&M), Tyler Miller (Mississippi State), DJ Chester (Mississippi State), Ory Williams (Tennessee), Ethan Calloway (Wake Forest), Khayree Lee (South Alabama).
Seaton has 2 years of eligibility remaining, but it's very likely he chooses to enter the NFL Draft following the 2026 season. Even if he's in Baton Rouge for just one season, his presence could do wonders for Kiffin and new LSU offensive line coach Eric Wolford.
