It's been a wild couple of weeks for the LSU Football program. Since Brian Kelly's firing, nothing but chaos has surrounded LSU as the program begins its search for a new head football coach. Interim head coach Frank Wilson led the Tigers in his first game this past weekend against Alabama, which resulted in a 20-9 loss to the Crimson Tide. LSU has now lost three games in a row and four of their last five games. The Tigers are desperate to get back into the win column this Saturday against the Arkansas Razorbacks.
LSU's handling of Brian Kelly firing could scare off Lane Kiffin and others
LSU owns a 45-23-2 advantage in the all-time series against Arkansas. The two schools have met every season since 1992, and LSU owns a strong 22-11 record in that span, which includes wins in eight of the last nine meetings. The Tigers are hoping that trend continues on Saturday.

So far this season, LSU is 5-4 straight up and 3-6 against the spread. The Tigers have failed to cover the spread in each of their last three games, and haven't covered the spread since their 20-10 win over South Carolina on October 11. Low-scoring games have been a theme for LSU this season, as the under is 6-3 in LSU's nine games in 2025. The last time LSU took the field at Tiger Stadium, they got blown out by Texas A&M by a score of 49-25. Needless to say, the Tigers are looking for a better performance this time around against the Razorbacks.
On the other side, Arkansas is 2-7 straight up and like LSU, is also 3-6 against the spread. The Razorbacks started the season 2-0 but have dropped every game since. Sam Pittman is gone, and Bobby Petrino has taken over on an interim basis. Unlike LSU, high-scoring games have been common for Arkansas this season, as the over is 7-2 in their nine games.
LSU won last year's matchup between these two teams 34-10 in Fayetteville. The Tigers easily covered the three-point spread while the under 57 cashed with relative ease. Kick-off between the Razorbacks and Tigers is set for 11:45 a.m. CT on Saturday. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network.
