After all of the chaos that unfolded in front of the New England Patriots, the team quickly moved to land their franchise cornerstone with the 4th overall pick. The Patriots went and selected LSU Left Tackle Will Campbell with the 4th overall pic, bolstering their offensive line in a massive way.

The pick is historic for the LSU Football program as Will Campbell becomes the first tackle in LSU history to be selected with the 4th overall pick. The New England Patriots get their cornerstone offensive lineman tasked with protecting Drake Maye's blindside for the foreseeable future.

Heading into the NFL Draft, New England Patriots fans were hoping to see either Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter fall to the 4th overall pick which was never going to happen. If landing an offensive tackle who allowed 4 sacks in three seasons like Will Campbell did is a constellation prize, than it's one of the best constellation prizes a team could get.

After the pick was made official, New England Patriots fans quickly went to social media to express their excitement in the pick.

One fan gave Will Campbell the ultimate compliment saying he looks more like a mafia body guard than an offensive tackle.

While Patriots fans will admit they wanted one of the shiny toys, Patriots fans are still admitting that drafting Will Campbell was the right pick to make.

New England Patriots fans are already looking at Will Campbell as their next multi time Pro Bowl player in a factory of elite playmakers.

After watching Will Campbell's incredible highlight package, New England Patriots fans have already seen enough to declare Will Campbell a freak.

The New England Patriots now have a cornerstone offensive tackle who can help Drake Maye in staying healthy long term which makes him the best potential pick. All eyes will now be on Will Campbell in training camp and the preseason to see if his arm length concerns can be disproven by his play on the field.
