LSU vs South Carolina odds: Who are oddsmakers favoring?
As of 1:15 p.m. CT on Saturday afternoon, the Tigers are slight 1.5-point underdogs against the Gamecocks on DraftKings Sportsbook. When it comes to the moneyline, LSU has odds of +105 while South Carolina has odds of -125. The total, or over/under, is listed at 156.5.
Playing in front of a raucous sold-out crowd at the PMAC, this top-10 matchup between the Tigers and Gamecocks presents plenty of opportunities for LSU. The Tigers are looking for revenge, as South Carolina defeated LSU by a score of 66-56 in Columbia in the lone meeting between these teams last season. The loss handed LSU its first defeat of the season after an impressive 20-0 start.
One intriguing storyline to follow is MiLaysia Fulwiley going up against her former team for the first time. Fulwiley is a Columbia native and spent her freshman and sophomore seasons playing for Dawn Staley at South Carolina. She played a vital role for the Gamecocks, averaging 11.7 points coming off the bench from 2023-25. Fulwiley transferred to LSU following the 2024-25 season, and is averaging 13.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game coming off the bench for the Tigers.
Saturday also presents a great recruiting opportunity for Kim Mulkey and her staff, as several of the top recruits in the country will be in attendance. Most notably, 5-star prospects Kaleena Smith, Caroline Bradley, and Zaniya Johnson will be at the PMAC for this highly-anticipated contest. Tiger fans everywhere are hoping that an LSU win in front of a sold out PMAC crowd leaves a lasting impression.
