The LSU Football team is going to need to be active in the transfer portal at a few different places. One of those positions is wide receiver as LSU will need to replace starters Kyren Lacy and CJ Daniels while they lose Shelton Sampson Jr and Landon Ibieta to the transfer portal. In this recruiting class, LSU only signed two wide receivers so the Tigers will need to at least add a player or two for numbers sake.

If the Tigers go the aggressive route looking for transfers that can elevate the offense, there are plenty of solid options for LSU. The latest entrant into the transfer portal that stands out as a great target for LSU is Wide Receiver Barion Brown who is transferring from Kentucky.

This season has been a down year for Brown as he has just 29 catches for 361 yards and three touchdowns but, he hasn't had the best quarterback play over the past two seasons. Where Brown makes the biggest impact is by being able to do a little bit of everything as scored receiving, rushing, and kick return touchdowns over his three years at Kentucky.

If Brown came to LSU he wouldn't be that true number one wide receiver but, when paired with other versatile weapons like Aaron Anderson and Zavion Thomas the Tigers could be difficult to defend. Brown is a solid option for LSU as he likely won't command top of the market money like some of the other receivers will while he'll also come with SEC experience.
