Week One of the College Football season is in the books outside of Today's game between Florida State and Boston College. It was incredible to see everyone in action across the country after the teaser that is week zero. After week one, there are certainly some shakeups among the teams that are competing for the College Football Playoff after some of the biggest games of the season.

A quick reminder on the rules of the new expanded 12-team College Football Playoff: The four highest-ranked conference champions will be seeded 1-4 while the fifth highest-ranked conference champion from the group of five automatically qualifies. The teams seeded 5 through 8 will host the remaining teams in Home Playoff games to start the playoff.

There's no surprise at the top as the Georgia Bulldogs remain the Nation's top-ranked team and the favorite for the one-seed after knocking off Clemson. Right behind them remains Ohio State after their route of Akron. These two teams will continue to battle it out as the most complete teams in College Football.

We have a third projected ACC Champion in three weeks as this conference continues to be unpredictable. We knew that Clemson would likely lose to Georgia and we still put them as the Champion of the conference as we thought they'd have a better showing than they did. Miami can now claim the top spot and should be going forward as they clearly have the most capable quarterback in the Conference.

Rounding out the Conference Champions are the Oklahoma State Cowboys after their win over South Dakota State. The Pokes have the best player in the Conference in Ollie Gordon II and will remain our top team until proven otherwise. With that said despite the coaching turnover in Arizona, the Wildcats are still explosive with Noah Fifita and Tetairoa McMillan and will challenge any team in that conference with their explosive offense.

Rounding out the at-large teams, we have the Oregon Ducks sliding down two places after they struggled with the Idaho Vandals. Alabama and Texas won big in their first games of the season and right now look more impressive than the Ducks despite Oregon's preseason hype. Even with their massive win over Texas A&M, we have to slide Notre Dame down one spot in the rankings as their offense looked less than inspiring. Mike Denbrock used Riley Leonard more like a running back than a quarterback which is a massive concern given his injury history. Penn State makes the cut, as well as their offense, looks more dynamic with the change at offensive coordinator.

Falling out of the playoff we start with LSU whose loss in Las Vegas to the USC Trojans showed that the Tigers miss Jayden Daniels more than expected. In that same note the teams to watch in the weeks to come are USC, Arizona, Missouri, Michigan, Utah, and Oklahoma.

The Week to come in College Football

This upcoming week will give us a ton of games which will further give us an understanding of how the College Football Playoff picture will pan out. Michigan and Texas face off in Ann Arbor, Utah hosts Baylor, and NC State hosts Tennessee. We're still a few weeks away from the jam-packed weeks of College Football but, we should see some solid games this upcoming week.
