There are only four College Football games featuring FBS teams this week and just one game featuring a team in the AP Top 25. Yet, we still found our first upset of the season and our first movement to the College Football Playoff projections as the Seminoles now face an uphill battle to win the ACC.

Coming into the game, Florida State was ranked tenth in the AP Poll and we projected them in our pre-season projections as the third seed in the College Football Playoff as ACC Champions. The results of the game along with some injuries sustained in camp have resulted in movements in our Playoff Projections.

The biggest change is obviously Florida State dropping all the way out of the top 12 after we projected them as ACC Champions. Sliding into that role is Clemson who will likely lose to Georgia this week but, the Seminoles looked so bad this week its hard to imagine they won't drop a few more games.

The other area of movement is with Texas and Oregon switching places but, both remain in the playoff. Neither team has played yet but, since our pre-season prediction, the Longhorns have been hit with injuries in the running back room losing their starter and a depth back.

The bid to watch at this point has to be the champion of the ACC as the Conference is truly wide open. The Yellow Jackets put themselves into contention while NC State, SMU, and Miami have promise and Clemson is the current frontrunner.

The Week to come in College Football

This upcoming week, we'll see some massive matchups with a chance to shake up the Playoff Projections. Georgia and Clemson will be the headline game while Texas A&M could deal Notre Dame a massive blow. On Sunday, the LSU Football team will faceoff against the USC Trojans and the winner will have a massive resume win. It'll be nice to see every team in action this way we can get a full grasp of what each team looks like.
