LSU Athletics will be incredibly represented as the school sends 28 current and former athletes to the 2024 Olympics. There's always debate though as some of the Fastest and Strongest American athletes play football rather than stepping onto the track or playing another sport. Here are five former LSU Tigers that could've made the jump to Olympic sports and could've dominated.

Trindon Holliday - 100 Meter Dash

While at LSU, the speedy return man was also a track star with some of the most freakish speed we've ever seen. Holliday wasn't just a football player participating in track either as he has one of the most decorated resumes as an Eight Time All American, Eight Time All-SEC, Four Time SEC Champion, and a Two-Time National Champion. Holliday's career best of 10.00 seconds in the 100 meter dash would have been good enough to finish 7th in the 2012 Olympic Finals which makes you wonder how good he could've been if he only focused on track.

Odell Beckham Jr - Soccer

After seeing Odell Beckham Jr on the gridiron it's no surprise that he chose Football over Futbol. However, at one point in time, Beckham was a serious soccer prospect looking up to the other famous Beckham growing up David. Beckham has said that he was given the chance to try out for the US Men's Junior National Team program but, given his football talents didn't want to move overseas.

Paul Skenes - Handball

In a Sport as simple as Handball, it's simply insane that the United States has never won the Gold let alone a medal at all. The United States could, send some of their best throwers to the event and who would be better than Paul Skenes? Imagine being the poor goalie that tries to stop a ball thrown by Skenes at 102 MPH with tail or when Skenes starts to put some break on his throws. Give Paul Skenes a handball and he'd become the best weapon we had in no time.

Harold Perkins - Rugby

It's hard to say transition from football to rugby because it takes a player that can play both offense and defense. That makes Harold Perkins an awesome candidate for the Rugby team. Perkins would likely become a great defender in Rugby while we've seen what he can do with the ball in his hands. Other LSU stars that could've made the transition: Kelvin Sheppard, Tommy Casanova, Laron Landry, and Tyrann Mathieu among several other stars from LSU.

LSU's 2024 Offensive Line - Tug of War

Tug of War has been long extinct in the Olympics but, if it were brought back LSU's offensive line would dominate. The group would be impossible to pull across the line at a combined weight of 1,613 pounds. The group also would have the strength to dominate the sport headlined by Will Campbell who just hit 616 pounds on the squat rack this offseason.
