This weekend against the UCLA Bruins, the LSU Football team should pick up another win with relative ease. While UCLA may not provide a ton of push back, this is still a great opportunity for the Tigers to work through some of the issues that have plagued this team prior to resuming the SEC portion of the schedule. This weekend, as LSU looks to continue their improvement look out for these five players who'll play a big role in this team reaching its final form.

Caden Durham - Running Back

The LSU Football team seemingly had no rushing attack then, Caden Durham got some carries against South Carolina and all of the sudden, LSU was picking up chunk plays on the ground. Kaleb Jackson and Josh Williams will likely get the early carries but, Caden Durham will get plenty of chances to carry the ball this weekend against UCLA.

Against South Carolina, Durham was so explosive because he was consistently breaking tackles and picking up yards after contact. The Bruins allowed 4.2 yards per carry last weekend but, Indiana doesn't have nearly the same offensive line as LSU. If Durham can stack back to back solid weeks, you have to feel optimistic that LSU is turning its rushing attack around heading into the bulk of the season.

Aaron Anderson - Wide Receiver

If it weren't for injuries to Chris Hilton Jr and Kyle Parker, we likely wouldn't have seen a ton of Aaron Anderson thus far. Instead, the Redshirt Sophomore has seized the opportunity, catching 15 passes for 223 yards and a touchdown leading the team in yards and yards per catch.

This weekend, even as Chris Hilton Jr returns, LSU needs to keep Anderson involved in the passing attack. Getting Hilton back gives LSU a ton of options to go empty and to get its four best receivers onto the field where a player like Aaron Anderson would dominate.
