Chris Hilton Jr - Wide Receiver

It has felt like every weekend Chris Hilton Jr has neared a return but, we've yet to see the speedy wide receiver take the field. The Tigers should get Hilton back this weekend as he's no longer designated as questionable but, he's now probable.

Given that Chris Hilton Jr is far and away LSU's fastest player, he'll be a much added addition once he takes the field. The Tigers haven't taken as many down field shots as they did last season but, Hilton's return should open that part of the playbook up for the Tigers. Getting Hilton involved this week and against South Alabama will be massive for LSU before they take on the Ole Miss Rebels.

Bradyn Swinson - Edge Rusher

What does Bradyn Swinson have in-store this weekend for an encore to his three sack game last weekend? The LSU Football team has gotten massive games out of Sai'vion Jones and Swinson now but, the duo becoming more consistent would be a massive help for a defense that still needs to improve.

Through two games, UCLA has only allowed three sacks so bringing Ethan Garbers to the ground may not come easy. If Swinson and Jones can step up on the outside, it'll allow Blake Baker more freedom to rotate players in at defensive tackle such as edge rusher Paris Shand. Losing Jacobian Guillory hurt this team on the defensive line but, if Swinson continues to step up the pressure on that group will lessen.

Harold Perkins - Linebacker

Last weekend, Harold Perkins looked much better as he was often on the filed alongside Greg Penn III and Whit Weeks. Perkins still only finished the game with three tackles with just one tackle for a loss but, on film he looked much better than the numbers showed. This weekend, Harold Perkins should continue his momentum and have his best game of the season. If LSU is going to beat either Ole Miss or Alabama, they'll need Perkins playing to the best of his ability and that starts with unleashing him as a pass rusher.
